Hyundai has taken a strong method to crossover styling recently, and among its most daring is the all-new Hyundai Palisade that debuted in the 2020 model year. With the 2021 Palisade being just its second model year, we expect no substantial changes to it.
2021 Hyundai Palisade Design
The Hyundai Palisade is a new styling instruction for the brand with its striking front end that consists of vertical LED daytime running lights, a sharp grille, and slim headlights. Down the sides, it handles a more upright stance that gives it an SUV-like appearance. Around back, the taillights handle a comparable vertical orientation as the front lighting while a “PALISADE” logo crosses the rear liftgate adds a premium touch. While it looks possibly excessive for some, we expect 2021 Palisade to strike display rooms boasting the same design.
2021 Hyundai Palisade Interior
Inside, the new Hyundai Palisade boasts a tidy dash with a large center console housing the push-button transmission and audio controls, and a small center stack brings the environment controls. The dash handles a more horizontal design, which visually broadens the cabin and offers it a more upscale feel. Speaking of an upscale feel, buyers can upgrade the cabin to include chic leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 10.3-inch infotainment screen in the location of the standard cloth upholstery, analog evaluates, and 8-inch infotainment screen. With this all still so new, there are no expected changes inside the 2021 Palisade.
2021 Hyundai Palisade Engine
We anticipate the 2021 Hyundai Palisade to rumble on with the very same powertrain it has today: a 291-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 coupled with an eight-speed automated transmission. Power will flow to the front wheels as basic, but all-wheel drive will remain a choice.
The current Hyundai Palisade is an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ thanks to its “Good” rankings in all crash tests, “Good” headlight ranking with the LED projector units, and a “Superior” rating in crash avoidance with its basic automatic emergency braking. With no changes to this crossover’s security equipment, we expect the same ratings from the 2021 Palisade.
2021 Hyundai Palisade Price and Release Date
Hyundai has not announced when the 2021 Palisade will strike showrooms, but we expect a summer season 2020 release based on the present model’s release date.
Rates for this model stays unclear, however without any changes coming, we expect only mild tweaks relative to today’s rates, which range from $32,645 to $47,495 (destination fees included).
This three-row crossover will take on the Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Highlander.
